2025 Mid-Year Report
We’re halfway through 2025, and what a journey it has been! At Chicas en Tecnología, this year is not just about moving forward—it’s about celebrating a decade of building a more inclusive and diverse tech world together.
Thanks to your generous support through GlobalGiving, we’ve continued to grow our programs, adapt to emerging technologies, and—most importantly—see young women step up as changemakers in their communities.
Our Impact So Far
Listen to CET Community participants
Learning to Lead in the Age of AI
Our work is evolving with the times. In a world reshaped by AI, we’re ensuring diversity and inclusion remain central. This year, over 100 girls are participating in our AI-assisted programming course—learning not only to use technology, but to shape it.
Girls Leading Girls
One of the most exciting milestones? The launch of PUMM—a peer-led program designed and implemented entirely by our own youth community. These girls are now mentoring others, creating resources, and becoming role models in real time.

Women in TECH as role models
We’ve also expanded our Mentorship Program, connecting professional women in tech with young girls across Latin America. These connections are transforming lives—with mentees gaining confidence, tools, and real career insight.
Scholarships Changing Futures
In 2025, we’ve already awarded scholarships for tech training in UX/UI, Data, Cybersecurity, and more. Last year alone, over 160 girls received full support to join these life-changing programs.

Thank you for being part of this change. Here’s to the next half of 2025—and to the next 10 years of empowering girls in tech!
