We are happy to share a heart-warming story of progress from Fatehpur village in the Khamnor block of Rajsamand district—one that shows how small opportunities can create meaningful change for a family.
Ambabai and Rod Singh live with their three sons, daughters-in-law, and six grandchildren. Earlier this year, they received coriander seeds through the project, and with care and dedication, they cultivated a healthy crop. Once harvested, they sold the coriander in the nearby market and earned Rs. 26,000.
This income became a turning point for their family. With these earnings, they were able to purchase a buffalo worth Rs. 65,000, adding a new and reliable source of livelihood. The milk now supports the family’s daily needs and provides a steady income throughout the year.
The family is happy and proud that they have been able to diversify their livelihood and strengthen their financial stability. A simple intervention - like providing seeds and training - has opened the door to long-term income and security for three generations living under one roof.
