Empower 500 Syrian youth with digital jobs

We are thrilled to announce that over 100 trainees have joined the "Forsaty" (My Opportunity) program, an intensive training serving as the gateway to the Entrepreneurship Program at Masarat. This program, delivered by Dr. Hilal Al-Hilal, consists of focused training hours aimed at setting youth on the path of financial independence and innovation.

The "Forsaty" program focuses on delivering the essence of entrepreneurial knowledge, where students learn:

• Fundamentals of Entrepreneurial Thinking: How to transform challenges within their communities into viable opportunities and projects.

• Financial Empowerment: Building the initial skills needed to enter the labor market and contribute to "turning the wheels of the economy".

• Paving the Way: Preparing students to later transition into advanced stages, including building business models and launch plans.

At Masarat, we believe that every "opportunity" we provide today is a cornerstone in building a sustainable economic future for Northern Syria. The participation of over 100 young men and women is a testament to their strong will to change their reality for the better.

Today marks the second anniversary of the February 6th earthquake, a day that reshaped Northern Syria and left deep scars in our students' hearts. The earthquake was not just a natural disaster; it was a grueling test for an entire generation that lost its schools and homes, forcing thousands of children into tents under conditions lacking basic stability.

In those critical moments, Masarat served as the practical solution and the educational sanctuary that never stopped. We welcomed students who were stranded and lost their classrooms, transforming "distance learning" into a bridge of safety that reached them inside displacement camps. We believed that education was the only tool to help them overcome the trauma and rebuild their dreams that shook with the earth.

In the eyes of our students, like Ahmad, we saw an unbreakable will; while walls were falling, their determination to learn grew stronger. Today, two years later, we renew our commitment to every orphan, injured, and displaced student, affirming that Masarat will remain the "school that comes to you" regardless of the hardships.
