The High Atlas Foundation is visited multiple times each week by university groups and representatives of international organizations, visitors from around the world to Morocco, families, and national and global partners.
They come to observe and experience the process of sustainable development and to see it manifesting into projects determined and daily operated by the communities who entirely control and benefit from them.
Together, we visit women's cooperatives, and part of the income-generating activities of cooperatives is the making of their artisanal crafts, food items, and processed agricultural products.
In order to realize this wonderful, enduring economic opportunity, we need to equip women's cooperatives with furniture for visitors to sit and be comfortable, equipment for cooking, looms, and other capital items to produce goods.
And the High Atlas Foundation can ensure visits to numerous cooperatives through its ongoing visits and partners.
Help us purchase these items so that we generate rural women's employment and the wonderfully good impact that the empowerment experience and project development have on families and communities as a whole.
