Achvat Amim connects diaspora Jews with Palestinian and Israeli communities organizing for justice. As deportations target our volunteers and demolition orders threaten 300 residents in the South Hebron Hills, our partners need us to show up. We provide protective presence, accompany families under threat, and build movements for liberation. We're raising $35,000 to expand scholarships, cover legal defenses, and meet unprecedented demand. When repression escalates, solidarity must grow stronger.
Palestinian communities across the West Bank face intensifying violence: home demolitions, forced displacement, and daily harassment. In the South Hebron Hills, demolition orders threaten to displace nearly 300 residents. Meanwhile, Israel is targeting solidarity itself-recently deporting two of our participants who engaged in peaceful olive harvest work. This isolation strategy aims to sever connections between Palestinian communities and supporters, making violence easier to carry out.
Achvat Amim trains and places diaspora Jews in direct partnership with Palestinian and Israeli grassroots organizers. We create protective presence in targeted villages, accompany families under threat, document abuses, and support local resistance. This funding expands our capacity: providing scholarships, covering legal defenses for members facing repression, deepening partnerships, and sustaining our coordination team.
Achvat alumni return as movement leaders who've witnessed these realities firsthand. They shift discourse in synagogues, campuses, and communities, expanding what's politically imaginable in spaces that might otherwise look away. Each cohort strengthens the global network of people refusing complicity and acting with integrity. By investing in Achvat Amim, you're building infrastructure for a generation to join the movement for self-determination and dignity for all.
