Dear Supporters,
This has been a very productive quarter for our Educational Support fund in Laos fund. We spent over 900USD towards UNSDG4: Quality Education and increasing access to quality education for students in Laos.
This Quarter The GVI Trust has contributed to the continuing of GVI Laos’ free classes for male and female students from rural Laos, who come to the city to gain access to higher quality education. There are 36 (54%) male students and 31 (46%) female students benefitting from these classes.
The GVI Trust has also contributed to UNSDG 5: Gender equality by using the rented classrooms to support all-female classes and skill-building workshops. Students learned about gender equality, learned how to speak and present about themselves, etc.
Thank you for your continued contribution and commitment to the Program in Laos. We look forward to working together to continue to provide these opportunities in Laos in the next quarter.
With Gratitude
