Equine Therapy for 20 Children with Special Needs

We’re so excited to share how your support is making a real difference in the lives of children with special needs at Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida.

Because of you, our participants are gaining confidence, improving physical strength, building communication skills, and feeling a deeper sense of connection both with themselves and the world around them.

It’s More Than Therapy!

Many of our participants face daily challenges, from difficulty speaking or walking to navigating emotional or behavioral obstacles. Traditional therapy can help, but sometimes, what they really need is something more engaging, more active, and more motivating.

That’s where our approach comes in.

Working with the horses has participants moving and connecting in new ways. Often, we’re seeing breakthroughs that go beyond physical therapy goals. Kids start smiling more. They express themselves more freely. They show up with excitement. They show up with a purpose.
