Project Report | Nov 24, 2025
Final report of 2025 and big news for you.

By Carla Maria | Founder and Managing Director

Hello dear supporter, here are some news directly from cold Berlin:
  • Our Women to Women program continues to flourish in India! Since our last update, our workshops have now reached a total of 272 women so far this year – a testament to the growing impact of your support.
The vital work of supporting women with monthly compensation continues as planned, directly contributing to their financial stability and empowerment.
  • The women in India continue to further develop themselves in different skills. Last week in India, 7 women did an advanced embroidery workshop.
  • We have moved to a new center in India. This is BIG. Our new center is in a much safer area, has a larger space (as well as 2 sleeping rooms + bathrooms, making it easier to shelter women there) - has a very spacious kitchen for our cooking classes. Here is photo of the new space after they had a blessing ritual, we will soon share better pictures.
  • We are also continuing to provide rent support to 5 women in Kenya.
Important Update on Kenya
While the wonderful work in Kenya continues as before (new workshop space, specialized housekeeping training, and the growth of our Kenya team with Jane), we have some important news:
We have made the strategic decision to conclude our activities in Kenya by next year, as our current resources are not sufficient to sustainably expand our work there.
We have designed a smooth transition plan alongside the women we serve:
  • Therapy support will continue until March 2026.
  • Emergency support will continue until December 2026.
We are dedicating the coming months to supporting the women in this transition, including investing in their own individual projects. This decision was made at the start of this year.

What's Next: New Beginnings in Berlin
  • New Website is LIVE! Our updated website is officially live—you can check it out now! This new site features an improved interface, a comprehensive donation page highlighting our impact and programs.
  • Introducing a New Program: We are very excited to announce that we will be launching a new program for migrant women in Berlin, Germany, next year, with the support of Tomorrow Bank. This program will focus on offering alternatives to women navigating unique challenges, helping them find their space and thrive as migrants in this country.
  • Impact Report: Our 2024 Impact Report is officially ready, and you can still check it out HERE! We look forward to sharing it with you in our next communication, where you’ll get a detailed look at the profound difference your contributions have made.
Thank you so much for all your support and trust. Your contributions are truly making a real difference in the lives of women. Please help us spread the word about our work to increase our community of monthly donors, or feel invited to gift a donation this Christmas in the name of someone you love.

Big hugs,

Carla.
