Collective leadership for change

By Rogelio Cervantes | Development manager

For more than 12 years, the collaborative efforts of Enseña por México have helped transform and impact the lives of over 200,000 children and young people across the country. We have achieved this thanks to the work of 12 cohorts of Profesionales de Enseña por México (PEM), deployed in more than 900 schools and educational centers nationwide.

Today, we can confidently say that we are building strong foundations that allow children and young people to develop and strengthen their social-emotional, cognitive, and academic skills. These competencies are essential for accessing better opportunities throughout their lives; this achievement would not have been possible without the collaboration and unwavering support of educators, primary caregivers, and entire school communities.

At Enseña por México, we want to reaffirm our commitment to a dignified and equitable education. The primary way we cultivate the agents of change our country needs is through our Leadership Program.

Thanks to the support of our partners and donors, this Leadership Program enables hundreds of PEM to continually strengthen their abilities. At the same time, they are able to generate tangible and lasting improvements in the most vulnerable educational contexts in which they work. This program is the Movement’s most important strategy to actively contribute to closing the educational gap in Mexico.

We want to extend our deepest and most sincere gratitude to our valued GlobalGiving community. Your ongoing support through recurring donations is the driving force that sustains our mission in the long term. Every recurring contribution reflects your trust in the transformative potential of our Profesionales de Enseña por México and ensures that we can continue reaching more schools, more classrooms, and more children and young people year after year.
