Dear friends of the Mbata farmers' project,
Thank you for your continued interest and support in the Smart Agri Centre in Mbata! This project has connected 10 houses and 60 businesses, and a cold store which all continue to thrive on solar power.
The Challenges:
Our fantastic project partners, Kiima Food, who are on the ground in Uganda, received reports recently that the maize milling machine in Mbata - a vital value addition tool for the farmers - was not working.
The Wins:
Peter from Kiima spent a day repairing the maize milling machine and it is now up and running again!
If you are able to continute to support it would be absolutely fantastic, and your ongoing support will help to ensure that vital maintenance work in Mbata can continue.
