Hi Friends!
Has it really been three months already and again? Since our last update, the Feed & Educate Children program has continued to thrive, thanks to your consistent kindness. We've ensured that our 120 amazing kids are not only well-fed with three nutritious meals a day but are also engaged and hopeful in the classroom. The foundation you’ve built is strong!
Our Ambitious Vision: Proactive in 2026
We are ready to stop "playing catch-up" and start building a financially sustainable future for the children. For the first time ever, we want to launch into 2026 with confidence, securing the resources before they run out.
To make this a reality, we are setting an ambitious fundraising target: $6,500 before the end of 2025.
This $6,500 will provide 6 months of stability for the entire program:
Supplies for Every Child: Purchasing all essential supplies for every child for the first six months of 2026.
Living Wages for Our Cooks: Guaranteeing a living wage for our three dedicated cooks for the entire first half of the year.
This stability will allow us to start focusing on long-term sustainability, like launching a veggie garden to reduce food costs and actively seeking other long-term financial partnerships.
A Special Goal: End-of-Year Celebration
Every day for these children can be challenging, and they deserve a moment of pure joy. We would love to put on a huge End-of-Year Celebration to recognize Christmas, Thanksgiving, and other holidays.
We are seeking an additional $2,123.48 to fund this special event, which will include:
Food they've likely never tasted before.
Crackers, party games, and fun celebrations.
