Food delivery
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project feeding starving children. This reporting period we are happy to inform you that we are able to deliver a total of 1,200 food packs for 1,200 poor families. Most of the families were affected by the recent typhoon that hit Mindanao in February. With the coronavirus pandemic and the sluggish economy, poor families have difficulty in surviving and the food packs is a welcome support to them. Your support plus many others make this happen and we are very thankful for this. We aim to continue this type of initiative to very poor communities in our region and hoping for your continuing assistance. Thank you very much. Stay safe and healthy always.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian

Feeding in remote villages
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings for the New Year 2021 and hope that the New Year brings happiness and good health to all of us despite the difficulties we are experiencing due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Even the remotest areas are affected now and with no viable cure in sight, more difficulties may yet to come. Hoping that we are able to surmount this. This reporting period, we visited our target remote villages and provided food supply to very poor children and their families. We are doing this in the spirit also of the Christmas season and in order to bring happiness to those that are really in need. We are able to provide food to 340 children and their families in this manner. We shall continue this approach for this year with the aim to bring nutrition and health to children in need. Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian

Promoting local snacks
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our initiative feeding starving children. During our intermittent discussions and some meetings with local leaders we found out that children prefer commercial snack foods even if these are not readily available and expensive. We think that advertisements as well as the idea that anything not available in the locality is good contributed to this situation and during this reporting period we aim to change that behavior by the promotion of local food that are more tasty and nutritious than the introduced ones. For example the meat and water of young coconuts hold a lot of promise. Root crops too as staple and as snack food holds a lot of protential too. We will start with 2-3 common crops for promotion and hopefully children will learn to adopt this. We will provide report about this apprach in our next reporting to you. Wish us luck. Thank you so much.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian
