Expanding farm livelihoods
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our initiative feeding starving girls. The intensity of climate change has made farming difficult and less profitable and there is a dire need to improve income and livelihoods as farming is the only source of income and food for so many. Our goal is to promote regenerative agriculture and expand the sources of income of farmers so that they are not only dependent on a single cash crop but could get income from a range of local crops that would grow well in their farms. This reporting period we are piloting the planting of fruit and timber trees with high economic value to 30 farms with plans for expansion as we go along. Hoping for your continuing support to our project. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Michelle Frances Uy

Promoting high-valued plants
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative feeding starving girls. We are happy to report that during this reporting period thanks also to local supporters we are able to provide for the needs of 75 girls and their families. Basically we were able to provide for their food needs. A group abroad sends new and used clothing as well as hygiene kits and we included these items in providing for the needs of girls. Then we launched a new advocacy of fruit and tree growing in small spaces in their farms with high-valued fruit and vegetables and we hope that this will provide them with nutrition and income in the near future. Again, thank you very much for your kindness and generosity.
Very sincerely yours,
Michelle Frances Uy

Dear Friend,
Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative feeding starving girls. We are happy to inform you that despite difficulties caused by severe climate changes and the poor productivity of small farms, we are able to support local villages improve food supply and provide nutrtition to poor women and girls. This reporting period, we are piloting a small plot gardening model that local families can easily implement in their homes. This is designed to improve their sources of food and nutrition as buying vegetables in the market is prohibitive. This approach is the easiest way wherein we are able to improve the health and well-being of poor families. Our pilot garden model is implemented in one village with the aim of increasing this to 3-4 villages in the coming months and as we see results and calibrate for problems and issues arising from our implementation. Hoping for your continuing support and encouragement. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Michelle Frances
