We are very pleased to share with you that recently at the Albergue, our children and youth participated in a taekwondo exhibition where they proudly demonstrated the skills and techniques they have learned during their training. It was a joyful and meaningful event, especially for those who earned a belt promotion—a milestone that reflects their dedication, discipline, and personal growth.

This exhibition is part of the ongoing taekwondo workshops, which not only promote physical activity, but also help strengthen emotional well-being, self-confidence, and teamwork.

Both the weekly classes and the final event were made possible thanks to the generous support we receive to strengthen our Nutrition and Healthy Habits Program, which includes sports and physical activity workshops like Taekwondo. We are deeply grateful to you for believing in our mission and making it possible for our children and youth to grow stronger, healthier, and more confident every day.

Nos da mucho gusto compartir con ustedes, nuestros queridos bienhechores que, recientemente en el Albergue, nuestros niños y jóvenes participaron en una exhibición de taekwondo donde orgullosamente demostraron las habilidades y técnicas que han aprendido durante su entrenamiento. Fue un evento alegre y significativo, especialmente para aquellos que cambiaron de cinturón, lo cual refleja su aprendizaje, dedicación, y disciplina.

Esta exhibición forma parte de los talleres continuos de taekwondo, que no sólo promueven la actividad física, sino que también ayudan a fortalecer el bienestar emocional, la confianza en uno mismo y el trabajo en equipo.

Tanto las clases semanales como el evento final fueron posibles gracias a tu generosidad, la cual ayuda a fortalecer nuestro Programa de Nutrición y Hábitos Saludables, que incluye talleres de deporte y actividad física como el taekwondo. Estamos profundamente agradecidos con ustedes por creer en nuestra misión y hacer posible que nuestros niños y jóvenes sean cada día más fuertes, sanos y seguros de sí mismos.

We send you our best regards and on this occasion, we would like to tell you about the benefits of the hydroponics workshops implemented in the Nutrition program which, thanks to your generosity, continues to improve the nutrition and quality of life of our children and youth.

The hydroponics workshops provide an opportunity for our users to learn about sustainable food production. This not only strengthens their knowledge of healthy eating, but also contributes to the development of practical skills that can positively impact their lifestyle.

Hydroponics would provide the opportunity for our users to grow vegetables and greens rich in essential vitamins and minerals, thereby improving their diet and reducing food insecurity. Through direct experience in the hydroponics workshops, the children have gained knowledge about food growth, the importance of vegetable consumption and sustainability. In addition, the workshops encourage critical thinking, the experimental method and teamwork. By participating in the production of their own food, the children reinforce the importance of a balanced and natural diet.

Te enviamos un gran saludo y en esta ocasión, nos gustaría platicarte sobre lo beneficiosos que son los talleres de hidroponia que se implementan en el programa de Nutrición que, gracias a tu generosidad, continúa mejorando la nutrición y calidad de vida de nuestros niños y jóvenes.

Los talleres de hidroponia brindan la oportunidad de que nuestros usuarios aprendan sobre la producción sustentable de alimentos. Ello no solo fortalece sus conocimientos en alimentación saludable, sino que también contribuye al desarrollo de habilidades prácticas que pueden impactar positivamente en su estilo de vida.

A través de la experiencia directa en los talleres de hidroponia, los niños han adquirido conocimientos sobre el crecimiento de los alimentos, la importancia del consumo de vegetales y la sostenibilidad. Además, los talleres fomentan el pensamiento crítico, el método experimental y el trabajo en equipo.

Al participar en la producción de sus propios alimentos, los niños refuerzan la importancia de una alimentación equilibrada y natural. Estamos muy contentos de contar con esta gran herramienta para fortalecer nuestro programa de nutrición, proporcionando a los niños oportunidades de aprendizaje, una mejor nutrición y una visión de sustentabilidad a futuro.
