From June 10 to 14, we participated in the XVII CCI LATAM Conference, which took place in Cali, Colombia.
It was an inspiring week of connection, shared learning, and regional collaboration, bringing together passionate voices from across Latin America, all united by a shared goal: transforming childhood cancer care in the region. It was an opportunity to hear key voices from Sociedad Latinoamericana de Oncología Pediátrica (SLAOP), Pan American Health Organization, ACHOP, CCILatam, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, all united in the mission to improve childhood cancer care across Latin America.
During the XVII CCI LATAM Conference, our executive director, Monica Gana, had the opportunity to share our experience of the two and a half years of operation of Casa de Luz. She spoke about our main achievements, challenges and learnings, along with key figures and a short and medium-term goals.
In addition, we are proud to announce that our executive director was appointed as a member of the new CCI Latam committee. There is no doubt that she will bring all her perspective and experience in hospice and palliative care for the entire region.
As Casa Familia Foundation we will continue to put efforts in sharing experiences and building community.
