scaling-up food production
Dear Friend,
Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing nutritional support for the elderly and their families affected by the coronavirus lock-downs and restrictions. The restrictions imposed by village leaders is difficult for poor villagers because of their difficulty in accessing food supply. This reporting period we focus our help to the increase in food production especially vegetables and legumes which are easy to grow around the farm and which provides quick results to the villagers. Our support includes vegetable seeds, small farm tools, organic fertilizer and technical advice. We are able to assist a total of 125 elderly and their families in this manner. Again thank you very much for your generosity.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre

Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative helping the elderly during this coronavirus pandemic. Great to inform you that finally vaccination is gaining ground with more people willing to get vaccinated compared to during the early days of the pandemic. Restrictions are also being slowly lifted and people are more free to go around and do their business. During this reporting period we grow vegetables in a 1-hectare farm and use the produce in feeding a total of 50 elderly in 3 villages. We think that this system is sustainable as neighbors provide labor and support. We need your continuing assistance especially in terms of the provision of vegetable seeds. Thank you so much.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian

elderly nutrition support
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative nutrition support for elderly affected by the coronavirus pandemic. This time shows the easing of restrictions caused by the pandemic and the urge of people to be vaccinated. This is so unlike before wherein local villagers shun the vaccine drive of the government. We think that the series of restrictions to be imposed on the un vaccinated had made people to be vaccinated. This reporting period we focus our attention to providing food supply to 72 elderly living in 3 of our beneficiary villages. The food that we provided comprise Filipino well-loved food as well as rice and canned goods. We aim to continue this activity especially now that we are coming up with the holiday seasons. Thank you so much and wishing you will continue to support us.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario
