Support 1,000 Kosovo Youth Learn by Volunteering

Dear TOKA Supporters,

This quarter has been a celebration of youth leadership and community impact - from Kosovo’s villages to European capitals - and every milestone has been possible because of you.

From Skenderaj to Brussels, young changemakers rolled up their sleeves to clean neighborhoods, revitalize libraries, volunteer in family businesses, and champion education. Their energy shows the incredible potential of our youth when given the chance to lead.

A defining moment of this quarter was TOKA’s 10th Anniversary Gala, where over 200 friends, supporters, and national leaders - including Kosovo’s Prime Minister - came together to celebrate a decade of youth-powered change. Together, we raised funds for the Lulëzojnë Scholarship, supporting marginalized students in their pursuit of higher education, in true TOKA style!

For the first time, we expanded the Solidarity Action Day (SAD) to the Diaspora, engaging Albanian youth in London and Brussels to reconnect with their roots and contribute to a cause bigger than themselves.

Back home, 196 youth volunteers wrapped up grassroots projects through our Solidarity Clubs, while we launched the Volunteer of the Year Awards to recognize outstanding community contributions. Our Service-Learning projects continued to grow with new initiatives in environmental protection and vision health, alongside expanded advocacy for integrating civic education and climate learning in national policies.

With exciting initiatives ahead - from local Leadership Camps and International Peacebuilding Camps to expanding career orientation programs with Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian youth - we are building momentum for an even greater impact.

Your belief in youth, equity, and action fuels these stories and the future of thousands of changemakers. Thank you for being at the heart of this journey.

Dear TOKA Supporters,

This past quarter has been nothing short of inspiring — and it’s all because of you.

From classrooms across Kosovo to community spaces in Brussels, your support has been the quiet strength behind hundreds of young people discovering their voice, purpose, and power to lead change.

We proudly celebrated 8 extraordinary volunteers alongside the Prime Minister of Kosovo — individuals whose everyday actions are helping reshape our shared future. It was a powerful reminder: when communities and leaders unite, transformation is possible.

In schools, we launched new service-learning programs that go beyond textbooks. These programs ignite leadership, empathy, and action. Thanks to your support, our educators — armed with fresh training and practical tools are helping young minds grow into active changemakers.

Our work also reached beyond borders. In Brussels, young Albanians from the diaspora gathered to share their stories, reconnect with their roots, and strengthen their cultural identity in a powerful workshop full of energy and belonging.

And in neighborhoods across Kosovo, our Super Volunteers led the charge in protecting something essential — vision. More than 3,000 people were reached through our myopia awareness initiative, spreading knowledge and inspiring healthy habits in classrooms and communities alike.

Every story. Every step forward — it all happened because you chose to stand with us.

And we’re just getting started for this year!
