Project Report | Feb 13, 2017
Full circle education and employment opportunities

Beach trip
Beach trip

Following the end of year trip to the beach - a relief and a stark reminder what it is like for the children to live all their lives in the desert - and a very successful summer school in January with record-breaking numbers the school holiday is underway with classes due to begin again in March. Our local teachers are preparing for the new school year and we aim to add yet another ex-student to the ranks as teacher. In 2017 we aim to implement various sustainable income plans to allow our children to move on to secondary school having graduated from our school. Our aim over the next two years is to set up local businesses for our graduates from college and University.

The third Seven Continent Charity Challenge gets underway in Guatemala on Tuesday 21st March 2017 to raise funds for project costs and employment opportunities for our graduates, as mentionned above, climbing Volcano Tajumulco, the highest point in Central America. There are more events planned throughout the year in different countries including England, Ireland, Australia, Canada and the United States so if you want to get involved in Guatemala on 21st March or other events, please do contact us on the link below and you can use this page as your fundraising page. Alternatively, if you want to donate to the cause, please donate to this page!
