The One in 8 Foundation continues to implement the "Soul Sisters" program plan.
In the period April-August 2025 we visited 5 cities in Bulgaria /Assenovgrad, Kozloduy, Burgas, Vratsa and Smolyan/ to provide psychological, emotional, practical and informational support to newly diagnosed women with breast cancer who are currently undergoing treatment, as well as to women with metastatic disease.
During the meetings we met 74 women and talkedabout all aspects of life with breast cancer, showed videos with important information for patients from leading experts in the field of oncology, gynecology and kinesitherapy. The ladies received practical advices, asked their questions to the survivors and psychologists of One in 8, as well as received our kits for women undergoing mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy or developing lymphedema as a result of treatment.
Next month The Pink bus is leaving for Lovech. Our team is already excited about the upcoming meeting with the ladies.
