We have completed another successful cycle of our mobile program Heartfelt Friends.
In September, we visited the city of Lovech and met with 16 women with breast cancer to offer them our support. We talked about all aspects of life with the diagnosis and presented informational videos featuring leading specialists in the field of oncology. The ladies received practical advices, asked their questions to the survivors and psychologists of One in 8, as well as received our kits for women undergoing mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy or developing lymphedema as a result of treatment.
The final months of the year were dedicated to analyzing patients’ needs and brainstorming new ideas. In the coming months, we will work on updating the program so that we can be even more helpful.I would like to thank all of you again for your continued support for the „Soul sisters” program.
