During the months of April and May, various training sessions and prevention workshops were carried out targeting children, adolescents, and adults in different areas of Tijuana. Below is a summary of the main activities conducted:
April 5 – “Princesitas” Event
The educational material "Not with My Body" was implemented, aimed at teaching children about the different types of physical touches: good, bad, and forbidden. A traffic light visual aid was used to help convey the message clearly. This activity was part of the “Princesses” event focused on child protection.
April 11 – Online Training Session
A virtual training session was conducted via Zoom, covering topics such as child sexual abuse prevention and response protocols. Approximately 100 participants attended the session online.
May 3 – Conference on Ideologies and Prevention
An in-person conference was held, primarily aimed at young people and adolescents. The event addressed contemporary ideologies and strategies for risk prevention, encouraging critical thinking and self-protection.
May 17 – “Rescue, Protect and Heal” Training
An in-person training session titled "Rescue, Protect and Heal" was conducted, with the participation of approximately 60 individuals. Key topics included human trafficking, abuse prevention, and the use of Freedom for Thousands materials, which are designed to help identify and assist potential victims.
