We’re excited to share the first update from our project in Hargeisa, Somaliland.
Our goal is to establish a fully equipped Radiology Department within the existing Pediatric Hospital — a place that, since 2011, has provided care to nearly 200,000 children across Somaliland, Somalia, and northern Ethiopia.
The new pavilion will host ultrasound machines, X-ray equipment, and a CT scanner — essential tools to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely treatment for thousands of young patients each year. Once completed, it will also enhance the work of visiting surgical teams from Europe and create new training opportunities for local medical staff.
At this stage, we are still working to raise the necessary funds to begin construction and equipment procurement.
Although no funds have been received yet, we are actively promoting the project and exploring new fundraising opportunities through our partners and supporters.
We remain committed to making this vision a reality and will continue to share updates on the next steps — including planning milestones, collaborations, and fundraising progress.
Thank you for standing with us as we take the first steps toward a healthier future for children in Somaliland.
