It has been a very exciting month with our adult school education school. We have operating for approximately 3 years with a letter of authorization from the Thai education department and they have faithfully provided a Thai teacher during this time for free. This moth the directors from the education department came to sign an office MOU (memorandum of understandings) with the Hand to Hand foundation. This helps our school and students access more opportunities and resources.
We have 17 students aged 13- 57 years old. They are currently on their semester break after finishing exams in mid-September. When the new semester begins there will be another 3 students joining. Our goal in not to have a large school, as our micro enterprise learning projects would be difficult to run. These include gardening, cooking, furniture making, flower making and soon IT courses too!
Thanks for all your support. With no education these students have very little chance of obtaining a reliable job with fair pay. Those who are uneducated are often exploited for poor wages. Your donation is changing lives.
