A long road to recovery
![]()
Thank you for supporting Gardens, Goats, and More—a project that provided sustainable income to 16 individuals in Gaza before the war through small-scale farming of vegetables and fruits, and by raising livestock such as goats and chickens.
In Gaza, war has cast its shadow over every aspect of daily life for Gazans. After two years of devastation and displacement, people now live atop the ruins of their destroyed homes. Many have set up tents on the rubble that once sheltered them and held their memories.
The economic situation is no less tragic. The prolonged war and soaring prices have exhausted the population. Food costs have surged, and meat and chicken have become rare commodities that most families still cannot afford.
Despite the ceasefire agreement, humanitarian aid—especially food assistance—is still not entering in the promised quantities or frequency, leaving people to continue struggling. Poverty and hunger are widespread.
The project has been on hold due to the ongoing conflict. We are committed to resuming it as soon as conditions permit, as thousands of people urgently need resources to rebuild their lives. With your support, we can help Gaza families rebuild a pathway to sustainable income once more. We’ll keep you updated on any developments.
Thank you for your continued support.
