Standing with Survivors: Expanding Midwives' Role

Midwives are on the frontlines of Haiti’s health system, providing critical sexual and reproductive health services. Thanks to your support, their reach and impact are growing every day.

Here’s what you made possible from January–June 2025:

58 midwifery students at Haiti’s Northern and Western campuses completed intensive, week-long trainings in trauma-informed care for survivors of gender-based violence, guided by a multidisciplinary team of medical, legal, and mental health experts.
Mobile clinics were launched to bring essential services—including cervical cancer screenings—to displaced and vulnerable women.
