To our supporters,
Imagine children walking miles to school every day, only to arrive at an empty classroom with no teachers, no books, and no resources to learn. This is the reality for students in a fishing community in rural Ghana. Despite these challenges, they still show up, eager to learn. The local school is barely functioning. No electricity, no doors or windows, no proper furniture, and no learning materials. Teachers often don't show up because there is little to no funding to pay them. Yet, the headteacher remains committed, fighting every day to keep the school running.
We are working directly with the school to provide essential learning resources, proper furniture, and salaries for teachers to ensure a stable and quality education for over 300 students. But we need your help!Once the school is back on its feet, we will help implement local income-generating projects that will fund its operations in the long term. This means the school can become self-sufficient, ensuring future generations have access to education.
These children are ready to learn. Will you help give them the education they deserve?
