Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative gifting an education to poor women and girls. We are happy to report that we are gaining momentum with this project with your gift as well as with local supporters who provided their financial resources and time in order to help. This reporting period we focused our help to the conduct of a training activity on easy vegetable gardening using materials around the house and the farm. Vegetable gardening provides good income and supports the health and nutrition of the family. We were able to train a total of 35 girls in this manner and the training was conducted in a center that we built last year. Hoping for your continuing support to this initiative. Thank you very much.
Gratefully yours,
Michelle Frances Uy

Organizing local associations
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing education to women and girls. This project is important because it is only in education that poor women get a chance of social and economic advancement. More so during this time when the poverty and misery in the rural villages is apparent. Without good education, women and girls are relegated unimportant roles and they oftentimes encounter extreme difficulties in their lives. During this reporting period, we are starting to organize women's associations that are able to implement non-formal educational activities in their own villages. This is very important because non-formal education contribute to direct livelihood and life skills of those who are able to complete this. Some of the favored skills are gardening, marketing of farm products, the raising of small animals like pigs and chickens and handicrafts. Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Michelle Frances

Education is key to success
Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project educating 900 women and girls. Education for poor families is often the only passport they have for a more better future than this time. Without education the children will follow the footsteps of their parents as poor and marginal and this will go dwn to the next generations in a vicious cycle. The need to provide for proper education is indeed essential but this is difficult without money and basic essentials. We are asking friends and supporters to scale-up support to this. Meanwhile we are starting the project by going around thevillages in order to select our pilot areas. We intend to finally select 2-3 villages as our pilot for this project. Hoping for your continuing generous support.
Very sincerely yours,
Michelle Frances Uy
