Restore Eyesight to Children in Africa

Hello Lovely Supporters! 

Last year with your support we setup this project and it has already gone further than we could have imagined. With so many generous donations we ran two events in township schools where we was able to test over 200 children, those that failed our test we then worked with their family and school to refer them to a local optician where they had been tested and we sponsored this test along with their glasses and transportation, we also found 2 children that was referred further for more serious conditions and without your support to run these events these children would have continued to have lived with poor vision as they simply can't afford a eye test. 

After these events we had a lovely donation come through that allowed our team to go on the training and fund our own testing machine, this means the cost of running events was cut by 40% so we could do more and we are now looking to fundraise for our team to head out on the road over the next 3 months where we will travel from South Africa to Zimbabwe and test as many school as possible along the way all depending our our fundraising efforts moving forward.
