Thanks to your early support, we’re gearing up to launch Girl Power Rugby at Bhongolethu School this November! We’ve partnered with local rugby clubs and teams who are just as excited as we are to see 60 girls step onto the pitch and discover the confidence, teamwork, and joy that rugby brings.
Launch Date: November 27, 2025
On this day, the entire school will join in a celebration of sport, creating a safe and inspiring environment for girls to get involved and see that rugby is for everyone.
But this is just the start. To keep the momentum going, we urgently need support to:
Hire a dedicated coach to lead regular training after the launch
Purchase essential equipment like rugby balls and tag belts
Provide uniforms and safe gear to make sure every girl can participate fully
So far, we’ve received one donation—thank you!—but we still have a long way to go to reach our target. With your help, we can make sure this program doesn’t end with a one-day event, but grows into a lasting opportunity for girls in Masiphumelele to build strength, leadership, and self-belief through sport.
