The Mentoring Program at Roko 20 Academy was created in response to the needs of several adolescents in the school who face complex personal situations, including unstable family environments and limited emotional support.
Almost all of our girls residing in the dormitory struggle to build a strong sense of identity, self-esteem and direction for their future, which can affect both their academic performance and personal development.
Adolescence is a crucial stage of life, full of changes and decisions that will shape their path, so this program aims to offer them close and consistent guidance to help them navigate it in the best possible way.
The main objective of the program is to support each student in self-discovery and the identification of their strengths, valuing themselves, and envisioning a clear and positive path for the future. Activities are designed to encourage reflection on who they are and where they want to go, as well as to provide them with tools that will help them make decisions.
The program has just begun, and the first session focused on building trust and opening dialogue. This initial connection lays the foundation for deeper work in the sessions to come.
We are hopeful that this program will bring about significant change in the girls.
Thank you for your continued support of Roko 20 Academy.
