Girls Started earning through sewing skills during Christmas Season
Young girls are at risk in rural areas of Sindh Pakistan, AHD has been working in these area since 2001-2002 and experienced continue young girls ignorance at household level in farming communities, as most of time all family busy in wheat, rice and sugarcane harvesting all over the year, AHD team visited some 15 villages near Matli and saw the situation of poor rural families during Christmas holidays.
The Great News shared by local rural families targeted by AHD in last quarter 2019, about 23 young girls learn sewing skills from their parents and earn amount for the studies from their sewing skills.
AHD team delighted to see young girls learn and now acting to generate income for their education purposes, AHD will focus more 45 young women and help them to focus on their young girls to get them to nearby Govt schools.
