We organised a one day event to mark this year's International Day of the Girl Child. The event brought together a total of 100 Junior High School girls to inspire, mentor and educate them. It also brought together incredible women of substance who engaged the girls on topics including "Finding your voice and using it for impact", "adolescent sexual and reproductive health" and "addressing gender based violence". These influential women also shared their leadership journeys with the girls and how they navigated through the challenges, emphasizing that challenges are part of the journey hence one need to prepare for them.This was impactful with many of the girls sharing how they have learned alot of things from the mentors and their colleagues. Some also shared on the new people they have met and the connections they have made.
