Hi there,
This month in Honduras we focused on education and celebration!
Each year, we meet our new first graders in San Rafael and this year they have been as impressive as ever! They are so eager to learn they have specifically requested more homework each day – I wonder how long it will last!!
We also celebrated Mother’s day, an event organized by our secondary school students! They put on a program of dance, drama and comedy for the Mums, with the most memorable moment the ‘Honduran Sack Dance’ performed by some of our younger students.

What a proud and memorable day!
Good education (and fun!) is absolutely vital for the development of the children and their families. Thanks to you and your continued support through donations we can keep improving the livelihoods of these communities!
Next Wednesday, June 12, from 9am GlobalGiving is matching all donations to us at 50%. This means a donation of $10 would become $15 thanks to GlobalGiving. This is a fabulous opportunity for you to make your donation even BIGGER and have a BIGGER impact. I’ll send you a reminder just as the match funding starts but please, do consider making a donation that will give more than you expected!
Thank you.
Sarah
