Dear Friends and Family of Action Change,

It's been a very busy few months for us and we have lots to share! We hav spent the last quarter on th road and setting up satalite camps, it's been an outstanding success but upon return our team needed a much earned break.

September 28th is World Rabies Day and like every year we wanted to do a big outreach event so we headed to the community of Sauraha where we ran a 3 day 'free' Rabies vaccine program and we used this opportunity for street dogs neutered program too. Over the 3 days a total of 130 dogs was given a free rabies vaccine funded by our donors and 30 of them also goot their neuter operation too. After these 3 days our team moved to Kalabang, Gharedi where they setup the next camp and we had a toal of 41 vaccinations compleed that included both dogs and cats. In the Nepali community, dogs are preferred as pets so we were plesently surprised to see so many cats being part of the families and being brought along.

After a short cultural break our team setup camp in Sindupalchowk were a total of 229 dogs were neutered, Among them, 152 were male and 77 female. We also was able to vaccinate all 229 dogs at the same time for rabies. After this 5 day event the team packed up and headed to Okhaldhunga leaving at 6.30am. It was a long day for the team as it took over 10 hours to reach the next location due to one of the outreach vehicles broke down while crossing a river. However upon arrival we setup and welcomes another 106 dogs to be neutered and vacinated.

Our team went on to 4 other sites again meeting over 300 dogs and so it really has been a successful 3 months. Medical supplies are now running low along with our travel budget so as we head home it is time for us to work hard on our fundraising so we can continue our work. We are delighted with the support of the communties with our project and next year we hope to also start building a new animal rescue centre in Pokhara.

For this reason we kindly request that you help us by sharing our updates and projects with friends and family and remember rather than buying someone a dog for christmas this year, you can make more puppies happy with a simple donation to our cause.

Thank you again for your Support,

HART Project Team, Nepal
