A total of forty-two (42) children were given help, especially with their basic needs for survival and protection. As of this report, thirty-nine (39) children are still staying in the residential shelter, while three (3) have already been reunited with their families through alternative family placement.
It was a challenging period because many of the children got sick. Eight (8) of them were brought to the hospital due to fever, colds, cough, and difficulty breathing. All of them received the right treatment and have now recovered. To help prevent sickness, all the children were given flu vaccines and Vitamin C. Wearing of face masks is still being practiced.
The four babies who were previously malnourished are now gaining weight. Their hair and skin look healthier, and they are given special milk to help them grow stronger. They can now walk faster and stand on their own without help.
The older children were provided with fruits, nutritious meals, and daily multivitamins to keep them healthy.
We are grateful to have you as our partners in giving these children a safe haven. May God richly bless you for your generosity in blessing these kids with continued support and love.
