Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are officially 10 months away from the end of 2026, and we have set ourselves a "Big Hairy Audacious Goal." This year, we aren't just looking to maintain our current feeding programs—we want to go further. We want to fund an extra 40,000 meals for children in need.
Can we do it? With your help, we know the answer is YES.
The Mission: Fighting Hunger Every Day
Currently, we feed 9,000 children every single day, five days a week. For many of these students, the nutrient-rich, high-protein meal they receive at school is the only food they will eat all day.
We’ve seen the results firsthand: when children aren't hungry, they can focus. They learn better, they stay in school longer, and they have the energy to just be kids. But the need is growing, and we refuse to turn a child away because the pot is empty.
The 40,000 Meal Challenge
Adding 40,000 meals to our program is a huge undertaking, but when you break it down, the impact of a single donation is staggering:
$10 funds 10 school meals today.
$25 funds school dinners for a whole class of 25.
$30 funds a daily meal for one month for a child.
$1,800 funds an entire day of cooking for 1,800 children.
How You Can Help (Beyond Donating)
We have 10 months to hit this target, and we need to start making noise now. Here is how you can be a champion for our children:
Be a "Table Starter": Forward this report to three friends or family members who care about child nutrition.
Shout About It: Share our GlobalGiving link on your social media. Sometimes, all it takes is one person seeing a story to start a wave of giving.
Go Monthly: Small, recurring donations are the "engine room" of this project. They allow us to plan ahead and buy food in bulk, making every dollar go further.
The Road to GivingTuesday
GivingTuesday in December will be our final push, but the hunger doesn't wait for the holidays. Let’s start today. Let's make 2026 the year we proved that no child should have to learn on an empty stomach.
