Hey everyone, Ty here!
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned on the ground is that health isn’t just about having a doctor nearby—it’s about knowledge. In so many of the rural communities we work with, people are fighting preventable diseases simply because they don't have the information or the tools to stay ahead of them.
We’re not talking about anything complicated; we’re talking about basic hygiene, disease awareness, and simple preventative habits that stop a health issue from turning into a life-changing crisis.
How we’re shaking things up We aren't here to lecture or drop off supplies and leave. We’re working hand-in-hand with local community leaders to run health awareness workshops that actually stick.
Whether it’s teaching families how to sanitize water, explaining how to spot early warning signs of common illnesses, or distributing basic hygiene kits, your support is helping us get ahead of the curve. When a community knows how to protect itself, the impact is massive. We see fewer sick days, more kids in school, and families who feel empowered to take charge of their own wellbeing.
It’s all about the ripple effect The beauty of this project is that one person trained becomes a resource for ten others. We’re creating a culture of health that spreads from person to person, house to house, and street to street. But to keep those workshops running and the supplies stocked, we need you in our corner!
Little by Little: The Power Play! We have a huge chance to get ahead of these health challenges during the Little by Little campaign from March 17th – 20th. GlobalGiving is doing their magic and 50% matching all donations up to $50, while matching funds remain.
A $50 donation from you turns into $75 for us.
That extra $25 covers the cost of health training materials, hygiene kits, and everything else we need to keep these workshops buzzing.
These matching funds disappear super fast, so please save the date and jump in early on the 17th! Let’s keep these communities strong, resilient, and healthy.
Stay awesome,
