Hello to all of our wonderful donors. We are back, after our GlobalGiving account was paused. We are once again active and are happy to continue to bring you updates on our ranch residents. Thank you for continuing your support for Horses of Tir Na Nog. We are so grateful.

We have been searching for a new groomer for our Livestock Guardian dogs for over a year. It was very difficult to find a replacement for Yuri, our wonderful groomer, who moved back to Japan in early 2024. Yuri showed so much care to our dogs, especially Landon who struggles with meeting new people.

We are lucky to have connected with a wonderful team, Sara and Kim. They were able to come and meet the dogs earlier this year. We immediately we knew they were the groomers for our dogs.

So, the wonderful grooming shed that you helped us build is back in business!

Our Livestock Guardian Dogs all have different personalities. Some love people, while others are uncomfortable with new people and situations. Sara and Kim have shown great care for all of our dogs.

Irbis, our Russian Bear Dog, can be extremely nervous in new situations. But with patience and trust, Sara and Kim have helped her become very comfortable with grooming.

Landon may have been shy at first, but now he is happy to get his beautiful white coat cleaned. Though his play sessions in the dirt at the ranch don’t keep his coat pristine for long, he is always a happy boy with a smile on his face after being groomed.

Bear loves a good bath and all of the attention that comes with it!

Barley Ii always ready for any adventure and loves a field trip to the grooming shed.

We are able to provide the best care and grooming to our Livestock Guardian dogs thanks to your generosity!
