Project Title: Hand Pumps for Persons with Disabilities for WASH
Update Title: Fundraising to Ensure Safe Drinking Water Access
Organization: National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan
Dear Supporters,
We are pleased to share an update on our project “Hand Pumps for Persons with Disabilities for WASH.”
Access to clean drinking water remains a serious challenge in many rural areas of Pakistan. NDF Pakistan is committed to addressing this issue by installing hand pumps in villages, with a special focus on ensuring that persons with disabilities and their families are not left behind in accessing safe water.
At present, we have installed 10 hand pumps and we are actively raising funds to implement more hand pump projects. Once smore resources are secured, NDF will begin installing hand pumps in targeted rural communities to reduce waterborne diseases, save time spent fetching water, and improve overall health and dignity.
Looking Ahead
Our goal is to make safe drinking water accessible at the doorstep of families in rural Sindh and other parts of Pakistan. Each hand pump will directly benefit multiple households, creating lasting impact.
Thank You
We are grateful for your continued encouragement and support. Your contributions will help us bring the gift of clean water to underserved families and persons with disabilities in Pakistan.
With gratitude,
Tariq Hussain
