Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing Filipino well-loved foods to hungry women and girls. During this reporting period, we focused our effort to the processing of food in order to add value and flavor. There is the situation here where local food is under-valued simply because they are local and so there is a need to improve their acceptability. This phenomena is a by-product of our mentality that local is second class. Towards this end we invited a resource person from a government agency to guide us how to prepare delicious food from local fruits and vegetables. We were able to conduct 1 training attended by 25 trainees and hoping that they will practice what they have learned back home. Again thank you very much for your support.
