The Harvesters in Sport Trust Feeding Program
Our feeding program provides a meal a day for between 50 and 100 children, Monday to Friday. On the weekends, numbers usually double and triple, depending on the occasion.
Then, there is an education support program and a sports and recreation program.
The biggest need lies with the feeding. We need at least $2000.00 a month to have a meal a day.
We, however, are pushing to double up on our fundraising to enable us to do at least 2 meals a day. This ensures children remain nourished and healthy.
We use at least $50 per given day to feed. Which translates to a minimum of $300 per week
We use at least $25 per week to do sports and recreational activities minus buying new equipment
We use at least $100 per week for stationery and school-related materials.
School fees support for our children in primary school tops $750 per term (a term has 4 months)
we have 10 high scholars. fees are steep here. its $250 per student and this term fees remain unpaid. we are grateful for the understanding staff at the school they are enroled at.
Caregiver and volunteers' daily transport and purchasing logistics per week $25.00

Meanwhile the build up towards our end of year party has begun. we normally seek to raise between $1 500 and $ 2500 to give the children a time of their lives and a few prizes to those who attended all year long including those who were outstanding, most disciplined in tnat order.
as the year ends we are seeking to settle all arrears and could use your support to get us across the line.
above all we are truly grateful for all the support you afforded us in 2025! the feeding pogram did not shut down, it has continued to stand due to the invaluable support you have afforded us.
