With your support, our partner Taller de Vida held 15 workshops to help foster healing in communities impacted by war.
In the remote region of El Choco, your support helped to unite community leaders, teachers, midwives, young women and girls, and government officials, and together, they discussed ways to promote resilience and peace. We partner with local grassroots activists from Afro-descendants and Indigenous communities to spotlight their leadership and solutions.
Our local partners also provide therapy workshops. They create a safe space for participants to share stories and experiences from their lives. The workshops use expressive art as a tool to share traumatic experiences and build resilience. Through these activities, Taller de Vida reached some 85 participants, including 45 young women. Thank you for making these vital workshops possible!
