Recent changes in U.S. foreign aid policy have created an urgent crisis for our HIV and healthcare programs in Zambia. The health of children and families living with HIV in Zambia is at risk especially if a continuous supply of antiretroviral medication is not ensured. Any disruptions in the supply of HIV meds can result in a drop in adherence which is dangerous as people living with HIV can develop drug resistance.
