The opportunity to learn

By Hospital Pablo Tobon Uribe | Hospital Pablo Tobon Uribe

Education for employment and human development

  • What has it meant to you, and to your family, to be a nursing assistance program student at the Pablo Tobón Uribe Education Institute?

Attending this Institution has been very rewarding for me and my family. Being able to be a student here, in addition to many other benefits, helps us to grow and develop in both the work and personal environments. Every day, I am satisfied and grateful about the process I am going through, about all the opportunities, knowledge and experiences that help me in my learning process, and about having the opportunity to serve our practical internships at a high-complexity institution like Hospital Pablo Tobón Uribe, which inspires hope, love and gratitude in both my family and me.

  • What aspects of both the program and the Education Institute would you highlight?

I would mainly highlight the experiences and opportunities provided by the workshops, the availability of resources and the guarantees in terms of places to serve our internships. I must also mention the high teaching quality and the assistance in our development of emotional and educational skills we receive in our training process.

The support provided by the teachers is essential to adequately consolidate the knowledge. Another fundamental aspect is all the benefits and precautions offered by the Institution to the students, such as the vaccines and the full training scholarship or learning contract opportunities.

  • How do you envision your future?

In the future, I see myself as an employee of the Hospital, performing an excellent job as a nursing assistant, being able to serve, help, learn and explore all my knowledge and capabilities, thus providing stability and comfort to my future patients.

I also see myself working on big projects based on my job, with economic stability and using tools to support my family in all their needs, thanks to HPTU’s nursing assistance program.
