In Guatemala, Teacher’s Day is celebrated on June 25th to recognize and appreciate the invaluable work of teachers in shaping individuals and developing society. It is a day to highlight the importance of education and the fundamental role that teachers play in this process.
In the “Scholarships for Girls” project, we acknowledge the vital work that the Educational Technician carries out with girls and young women; they act as a guide, advisor, and support system, helping scholarship recipients achieve their educational goals and thrive in their school environment.
What does a scholarship technician do?
With great emotion and pride, we can say that our technicians have a true “vocation to educate and serve”. Love for others is one of the principles that makes people virtuous and enables the work of helping others to discover and develop their potential for their personal, family, and community benefit — a true act of “Development with dignity”.
