We are in the final stage of the 2025 school year, a key moment to carry out support, evaluation, and reinforcement actions for girls in vulnerable situations. This end of the academic year represents an opportunity to identify possible cases of school dropout and strengthen the link between school, family, and the girls, thus ensuring educational continuity.
As part of the Scholarship Project’s methodology, school visits are carried out to allow direct contact with the girls and their families, making it possible to learn first-hand about the academic, emotional, or economic difficulties that may be affecting their stay in the educational system. These visits are also spaces to provide guidance, support, and motivation, fostering confidence in the girls’ abilities and their desire to continue studying.
Various studies show that school dropout tends to increase in vulnerable populations when there is no continuous follow-up. In these contexts, the most common factors influencing school abandonment are the lack of financial resources, the overload of family responsibilities, lack of motivation, and, in some cases, lack of support from their immediate environment.
It is estimated that between 20% and 30% of girls in vulnerable situations are at risk of dropping out of school if timely guidance and support strategies are not implemented.
Investing time and effort in guiding, motivating, and supporting girls is investing in their future, their well-being, and the improvement of the quality of life for the entire community.
With grateful hearts, we invite everyone to continue donating and believing in the Scholarship Project—an initiative that transforms lives through extracurricular learning and ongoing support. Every contribution, no matter how small it may seem, represents another opportunity for a girl to continue her studies, discover her potential, and build a future full of hope. Because the best gift we can give a girl is not material, but the chance to learn, to believe in herself, and to know that her life has infinite value.
