The Mothers’ Club gatherings are a vital platform where families learn about maternal health, infection prevention, and how diseases spread—and more importantly, how to protect one another and reduce their impact.

These sessions provide an opportunity to share practical, life-saving knowledge on hygiene and wellness, from the importance of handwashing and proper nutrition to safe sanitation practices. For many living in remote rural areas, this is the only reliable source of such critical information.

Alongside training, we continue to distribute essential supplies, including water purification tablets. Expectant mothers receive a special package with prenatal vitamins and superfoods, as they are particularly vulnerable and need extra care.

The Mothers Club meeting is an essential tool to educate the community about the importance of maternal health care and infection control and prevention; how diseases spread, and how to protect each other to minimize its consequences.

It's the perfect meeting for engaging with the community and spreading educational messages about best hygienic practices, such as the importance of handwashing, nutrition and sanitation. 

Unfortunately, the population we serve doesn't have any other reliable source of information as they live in rural remote areas. We are still focused on training about infection control, together with the distribution of essencials such as water purification tablets.

For pregnant women, as they are more vulnerable, we have a special package that also includes prenatal vitamins and super foods.
