To our supporters,
Imagine being denied access to education, healthcare, or even a future, simply because you don't have a birth certificate. For thousands of children in Zimbabwe, this is a harsh reality.Without this vital document, children are unable to enroll in school, access government services, or secure employment. The cycle of poverty continues simply because they lack proof of identity. This issue is particularly widespread among orphans and children in rural communities, who have no means of obtaining their birth certificates on their own.
The Challenge
1.1.4 million orphans in Zimbabwe, with over 52% lacking identification
2.Without a birth certificate, children cannot access education, healthcare, or social services
3.Many children born at home or with deceased parents have no way to prove their identity
This project doesn't just help one child, it transforms entire communities. By ensuring children have legal documentation, we are breaking down the barriers that prevent them from becoming active, educated members of society.
£20 = A birth certificate for one child
£100 = Five children receive legal documentation and access to education
£500 = A whole classroom of children can enroll in school
Be the reason a child can go to school, see a doctor, and have a future.
Donate today and give a child the most basic right: their identity.
