Among the 125 patients we currently serve, 24 are living specifically with Lupus, and several of them face overlapping conditions—a reality that is sadly common among people with rheumatic diseases. During this period alone, we were able to provide comprehensive, integrated care to 29 patients affected by Lupus. Through medical attention, psychological support, nutritional guidance, and physiotherapy, we strive to address not only the illness, but the whole person. Your generosity makes it possible for each patient to receive the continuity of care they need to move forward with dignity and hope. One story that especially moves us is that of Ana Karen. Living with both Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus, Ana Karen has shown extraordinary commitment to her treatment—regularly attending medical appointments, physiotherapy sessions, and actively participating in our psychological and nutritional support programs. Thanks to her perseverance, she has made remarkable progress and maintained a good quality of life. So much so, that she has now become a volunteer in our medication bank, giving back to the very community that once supported her.
