Dear Supporters,
Wild Horse Rescue Center has been blessed with local volunteers since our international volunteer program came to a halt at the end of March due to COVID-19. We currently have 10 active volunteers who help with everything from cleaning stalls, filling waters, grooming, and training horses. These people have been a true blessing to keep the center going and keeping all the animals happy.
As September 20th comes, we will celebrate one year at our new property in Webster with an Open House. We will proudly show all the improvements we have made to the center along with all the new animals that have arrived. This day will also be a fundraiser to help bring in money for our animals, and there will be live demos by our president and founder Diane Delano, along with many other fun activities for the whole family.
The latest improvements include our new education center. A few weeks ago, we purchased a portable building that we are currently preparing and decorating to be our future place where we can take visitors to learn more about the wild horses and what we do at the center, along with the history of WHRC.
We are looking forward to the fall, as the weather will start to cool down, which will allow for more work with the horses and a cooler environment for our volunteers to work in. We are also planning a Halloween event and a Thanksgiving event in the fall to help bring in funds and to reach out to more people. We are so excited to keep working on our new property and so glad to show it to all our wonderful supporters.
With Gratitude,
USA Wild Mustangs
